FAN Board Members Oppose Ballot Measure 105At the July Board meeting the FAN board unanimously approved an Equity Resolution in conjunction with the City of Eugene's mission to create inclusive and safe neighborhoods. As an outcome of this resolution, the members of the FAN board decided they could not be silent regarding Ballot Measure 105, the anti-immigrant measure that will be on the ballot in Oregon in November.
The members of the FAN board voted unanimously to take a position of opposition to Ballot Measure 105. We did not take this step lightly, and this may very well be the first time the members of the FAN board have taken a position on a state wide ballot measure. However, we all agreed it was an important step to take. Please join us in voting NO on Measure 105 to keep Oregon's communities safe and just.
