2025 First Annual Friendly Street Block Party
Mark your calendars, gather your family and friends, and dust off your dancing shoes, because on Saturday, September 20, Friendly Area Neighbors, in association with the Friendly Street Market and the Garden on Friendly, will present the first annual Friendly Street Block Party!
Celebrating our neighborhood’s community, culture, and spirit, this family-friendly event will be FAN's end-of-summer gathering, and will provide a showcase of the lively and welcoming character that our neighborhood is known for throughout Eugene! Event details at a glance:
The FAN board believes that strong communities are resilient communities, and that one of our most important jobs is to give Friendly neighbors the opportunity to connect, develop and strengthen relationships, and work together to solve the problems that are closest to our homes. We can't think of a better way to do this than an event that brings the people in this neighborhood together to celebrate our residents, our businesses, and our streets. This party will have something for everyone! You’ll find live music, a variety of food carts, a beer garden serving an array of beverages, a kid zone with games and activities, booths offering information about FAN and other partner organizations, and a silent auction to benefit the efforts of FAN, including supporting this newsletter, and hosting more events for the whole neighborhood.
